It’s amazing how quickly this year has gone by or that’s how it has felt for me. We are just a few days away from Thanksgiving and the kick-off to the holiday season. As I was reflecting on this time, it got me thinking of how grateful I am. But what is gratitude? Gratitude is a feeling evoked by someone else’s actions towards you. This year I am especially grateful to my family, friends, and coworkers for their support during my husband’s surgery. We were showered with thoughtful messages, prayers, visits and delicious meals. Thank you for all the love and kindness.
I am also grateful for the opportunity to financially coach and serve my clients to manage and create their desired lifestyle. You bring me so much joy! I am thankful for the opportunity to experience this wonderful feeling of gratitude, especially in the current unkind world we are living in. So, I would like to inspire you to create moments of gratitude during the remainder of the year. Let people around you know how much you appreciate them. It can be as simple as giving a compliment, a hug, a smile, listening, making eye contact, writing a thank you, or showing patience and appreciation to anyone serving you. Wishing you and your family a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. Let’s evoke gratitude in others during the holiday season.
“Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul.” – Amy Collette
